Joy to the world

Once again the day our Jesus Christ was born. That gave joy to people for a blessing that was given to us. Jesus brought a new religion based on love & the vision of a God who is full of compassion and forgiveness; a vision of doing everything with a positive mindset & from a place of love.

Christmas well first thing that comes in our mind are presents, delicious food and a joyful music ringing in our ears. That’s one thing but the true essence of Christmas is love. Give things with love, eat those meals with those people you love, and sing those songs lovely with all our hearts. As we go on and celebrate Christmas we must keep in mind, the reason of why we have this; the love of our God. Be a helping hand, a model of being a good person, showing how much you care and love for them. Be a guide in sharing love and positivity, spreading the work and words of God.

For me love is the essence of Christmas, bring joy to the world. But we must keep in mind, spread love not only in Christmas; every day is Christmas. Have a jolly and Merry Christmas to all.

GAD-VAW

We are living in a world full of stereotypes. Saying that women are weak, resulting to various abuses. Living in the shadows, they fear to speak up and stand for themselves. Some doesn’t even have the right to live peaceful. Violating their rights physically, mentally, and sexually, leading to issues, health issues.

It has a big impact in our society; it’s one of the biggest problems in our society, having inequality between the two genders. Common abuse that is happening to women are physical and sexual abuse. In times these abuses happen to one’s life, it becomes more difficult for them to move on. Destroying their lives and disrupting them to live peacefully. And may lead to a bigger problem or become a reason for suicide.

Stop the violence, fight for what is right. Break the barriers among us. Spread love and positivity, stop the hate.  End violence, to every mankind.

Home, Our Home

Fresh air, clean water, a nice home and delicious consumables. All being provided by our planet, our mother, the Earth. In existence for 4.543 billion years and in a blink of an eye, slowly being devoured by us, being push to the limit causing it's extinction.

November a great month. Another a activity, a great event has started which is the National Environmental Awareness Month and Clean Air Month. Promoting to the public, awareness on protecting and keeping our home preserve and to ensure a clean and nice environment for future generations. Being a great person and know the right things to do in order to help maintain or improve the cleanliness of our beloved Earth. Let us unite and help keep our planet's beauty and preserve it's hidden wonder. Prevent inhumane activities let us keep our home same from danger and help nourish our home. Destruction of our home is near, continuing this acts will surely help it to move faster to extinction and to fade forever.

Home, only one unique planet suitable for us. Let us not destroy it but help each one to nourish it. Love our only home, prevent destruction and make a difference. Be wise in our decisions, and hopefully regret won't be a choice.

Let's Go!

1 2 3, Let's Go, again in the month of November. The start of Children's Month having this year's theme, "Karapatang Pambata: Patuloy na Pahalagahan at Gampanan tungo sa Magandang Kinabukasan". Going on the month is focused on children's right, in terms of their basic needs.

In some cases children are being abused and maltreated each year. Being harassed physically or mentally, affecting or being a great impact to children's lives. With this month it helps individuals to  be aware of children's state. Giving the public awareness to children's rights and to be responsible in raising a Filipino child to grow into a well-rounded person. Making a strong commitment to protect every child at all cost, to ensure their safety and give them an environment suitable to help them grow into a great person someday. 

Let us all unite to protect our samplings. For they are the future generation, the one who will continue what have been started. Guide them and help them in order for them to make their own legacy some day.

A Valuable Month

Here we at again the month of November, the Filipino Values Month. In pursuant to Proclamation No. 479 issued back on the 7th of October year 1994. Every year a celebration of Filipino Values Month, the whole November. With this year's theme, "Pamilyang Pilipino Patatagin, Susi sa Paghubog ng Kabataang Maka-Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa". 

Values are important in every individual, which we can take with us until we grow old. This year it focuses on the four pillars, which is pro-God, pro-people, pro-country, and pro-nature which reflects our country's rich tradition and culture. And the values of us Filipino that distinguish us from other tribes or from other countries. We need to strengthen it and develop our good core values. And encouraging us all to awake this values to achieve our goals, national goals and our life goals. We all are highly encourage to participate in this month for the celebration of Filipino Values Month.

As we move on forward with our lives, as we grow older and as time goes by, never forget and carry with you all the time the values we learned from our beloved teachers and specially our family. Never be afraid or shy of what culture or to show the values you have.

We as One Nation

Here we go again, the month of October. Celebrating again the day where various nations became as one or unite to achieve peace and progress. On October 24, 1945 where United Nation came into existence. Commemorating the establishment such organization that aims a big progress into human civilization. With the theme for this year, "Indigenous Languages Matter for Sustainable Development, Peace Building and Reconciliation".

United Nation, many countries and having only one goal. Having a long time peace and diversity among each other in different parts of the world. Having our country, Philippines as one of the member of UN. Having connection to different countries all around the world which help us financially, helping our country's economy to grow even more. And as part of the celebration various activities were held in schools. Events or shows promoting or connected to United Nation showing out support in the month-long celebration of the yearly UN's existence. A great way to learn and be one or socialize with others. October month of Unity among countries in different part of the world.

Once again an important event in human history. Preserving it and pursue on and continue what our ancestors have started. Don't let a good and helpful tradition fade away from our generation. Keeping a peaceful and and an unbreakable bond among us. Break the barriers between us.

The Second Return

Ooofff, another quarter has ended. Another cool journey has arrived on its destination. I have learned a lot this quarter. I became an amateur programmer I guess. We learn basic html tags in this quarter. I guess the only problem is me; well I’m not great at memorizing so it became a problem or challenge for me but I overcome it after all. Well it was quite a great journey for me even if memorizing became a struggle for me. It was worth it all of my efforts. Moving on, I will pursue to an another chapter of this amazing journey called life.

What a Guide

Here we at again another year in our wonderful society. Teachers day a day of remembrance of our beloved guide in our school. A guide, a light in our path, and sometimes our happy pill. Teaching their lessons in their unique ways. Teaching their lessons, giving jokes, and helping us to strive to success.

Teachers are not all that. They don't only teach us what is was, numbers, sentences, and history. They also taught us life lessons, moral lessons that we can use in our journey. They are our wonderful treasure in our lives. They are important people that without them where are we? We stumble, teachers are there helping us to get back. They are also our protector, our knight in shining armor. They became our second parents that without them who would teach us this knowledge, a light in our world. 

Appreciate our teachers like our own parents. They want the best for us. Love them for they love us first. Happy Teachers Day to our guide, light in our dark path, our beloved teachers.

A Hot Sport

            Intramurals is one of the programs our school is doing for so many generations. It is the battle amongst student athletes in their different specialization. It promotes teamwork, sportsmanship, unity and cooperation among the athletes. It is such a good practice in schools for it helps to improve the well-being of everyone.

            Intramurals doesn’t only teach us how to play but also it teaches us life lessons. We may stumble in the way but what’s important is to get back up and keep your head on the game. We win which gives us joy and satisfaction and acceptance of our defeat when we lose.

            Every school conducts this event, and ours was on September 12-14, 2019. It was our last Intramurals in our Junior Level. It was fun actually even if the sun above is heating to hundred degrees. My friends and I was busy watching different sport activities, enjoying it. And different clubs also put up booths during the intramurals.

            

It was a struggle but we enjoyed it. Well it is our last Intramurals after all, why not make fun out of this last moments. See you again on the next Sports Event.

Science: A Great Way to a Better World

Every year there are many occasions or events that we celebrate. Science month is one of the exciting events that we have been waiting. Celebrating and admiring the inventions and discoveries that the scientists have successfully accomplished.

In this year with the theme “Science for the People: Enabling Technologies for Sustainable Development,” which is focused on scientific knowledge and application of technologies to the citizens for development and innovations. The applications of knowledge and technology which will give a great impact in our lives that way lead to a great, positive, sustainable and meaningful change.

Have fun and discover new things. Use what we have for our society in achieving a better place, environment and put what we have in good use. Science is a great way in achieving a peaceful society when put in good use.

A happy school is a happy student

The DEPED-Region 1 launched the Happy School's Movement to boost the efficient implementation of the K to 12 basic education curriculum in the Ilocos provinces.

It promotes school to be a more enjoyable and better place to study. It gives attention to the student's full potential by creating a happier and a way more positive environment for the students to study. The movement aims to mark in the minds of students that school is not just a place for learning but also a place for fun and enjoyment as they enjoy what they are doing.

We must enjoy what we do in order to learn efficiently. As a student like me programs like this are helpful to us. We enjoy school more and study more comfortably. And it became better and we enjoy school as we strive eagerly to learn more.

We are one

            Every September we Bigueños and people around the world celebrate Solidarity in our beloved city, Vigan. In this day we actually commemorate it with week-long activities which aims on strengthening our pride inn the history and culture of Bigueños. In this special day we promote diversity, friendship and unity between countries and a great event in combining us into one. 

The month-long event opened in the 1st day of September at The Solidarity Food and Trade at the Vigan Convention Center, Paseo de Vigan. Many activities or events are done in this wonderful month. The wonderful parades, mass in our Cathedral and much more. Another way to join in the event of Vigan is to join the scheduled Visita Museo ken Balbalay, when narrators read accounts of the life of the owners of the mansions and museums that are toured. Participants are also guided through the cobbled stone-past of Vigan streets and back to the concrete present.

We have such a rich history, and a wonderful place to dwell. Enriched with the great history of our beloved city. Let us unite and keep our history as it is. Preserve what we have for future generations.

Buwan natin Ito

Sa bawat pagsapit ng Agosto ipinagdiriwang ang Buwan ng Wika. Taon-taon itong naipagdidiriwang sa ating bansa sa pamamagitan ng iba't ibang patimpalak sa mga paaralan. Ang tema ng taong ito ay, “Wikang Katutubo: Tungo sa Isang Bansang Filipino.” Balik sa nakaraan kung saan nagumpisa, Wikang kinagisnan natin ay isapuso.

Pinapahalagan natin ang ating kultura at mga tradition dahil isa ito sa paraan kung saan naipapakita ang ating pagmamahal. At patuloy nating ginagawa o ipinapagdiwang ito dahil sa pinagkakaisa tayong mga Pilipino. Itayo ang ating bandila isapuso ang ating wika at magkaisa sa pagpapaunlad ng ating bansa. 

Mahalin natin ang ating wika at ipagmalaki ang kinagisnang bansa o bayan. Magkaisa tayo patungo sa kaunlaran. Tayo ay Pilipino sa isip, puso at gawa.

Back at The Start

In this quarter there are so much I have gained. I learned new things like using blogspot to create and blog. It's a tough start but it's also fun. Beside that I also learned the History, how the Internet appeared and how it spread in different parts of our world. It's interesting but on my way to learn new stuff comes challenges. It's a big challenge for me to memorize stuffs like dates, important events and more, but I tried my best to overcome them. Firstly I went over our notes several times in order to remember these important events and information. Moving on, I will continue on forward and learn more things. Face every challenge and take every risk. We can't avoid them but we can overcome this. Just believe in ourselves and aim for our goal.

Today is the National Disaster Resilience Month, which is the month of July. We practice such things in order to be in crucial times. We enhance our preparedness and to prevent disaster. For us to be ready, set plans, and go to a safe place.

Disasters are often common today. We do activities to practice ourselves from the bitterness of death. Let’s keep ourselves prepared and fearless in facing disasters. Keep calm, be resourceful and be ready at any time, for disaster is unpredictable. Stand firm and be ready at all cost. Help ourselves to survive in such cases of being alone.

NDRM is the month where we practice preparedness, response and to recover when a disaster may come in our way. Let’s get ready, set plans and go be prepared and ready. Remember to be safe and be prepared any time, for things happen unexpectedly.

A healthy life for everyone

            Being healthy and fit is such a deal right now. Keeping your body fit and active is sometimes a big work. Balance diet and proper workout activities are conducted through different schedules.

            Nutrition month is the month where they promote a healthy lifestyle to live a longer and happier life. Activities are done to help endorse a proper living to one’s life. We celebrate a month which is the Nutrition month to encourage one to move to a healthy life. Eating vegetables and fruits instead of unhealthy junk foods. Improving of one’s lifestyle. Ensure a happy and longer life and remember to always exercise regularly. Be active in our everyday life, stay fit.

            We may encounter difficulties in our journey of being fit and healthy. In a certain point of thinking about giving up. But we need to push it, achieve our goals, work even better. Stay fit and healthy.

Be ready, Be safe

            NSED or National Simultaneous Earthquake drill is a program of the government in specific NDRRMC. The main purpose of this is to help individuals from various places to help them to be ready in times of actual earthquakes. And to know the response of the public in crucial times, perhaps a disastrous earthquake.

            The continuous run of the SED has helped the public and private sectors to stay safe or to help them be ready. It improves their response to a time like this in order survive perhaps. In doing this, it also helps them to know what they will do if something like this disaster may come in the future. And helps them to be ready not only their response but what will they be preparing including clothes, food, water, communication devices and aid kits. And helps them determine where nearby places they will go, a safe place or an evacuation area.

            And in conclusion this is massively helpful to every individual for them to survive in the maw of death. And we must or I am encouraging all of us to participate more in programs like SED to ensure our safety in the face of danger.

A letter to remember

Dear President Duterte, 

            I am a student and my name is Rick John Labor from San Jose, Vigan City, Ilocos Sur, Philippines.

            I am writing this letter on behalf of your administration. For everything you have acted while sitting as the president. I am admired for the projects you have accomplished like build-build-build project, cleaning of Manila Bay, War on Drugs and many more. And for doing a big progress on the economic growth and for doing such good things on our fellow Filipinos around the world. And I am requesting for you to take more time and attention towards the issue of the West Philippines Sea and to remove corrupt people in the Government service.

            I hope for you to read and respond to this and support more activities that will help our country grow.

Pain Relief

1898 is a random number, yet it’s one of the most memorable of all. During this year we Filipinos broke from the chains witch hold us. Being colonized by Spaniards for 333 years we were able to break from it and relieved from the pain they brought us.

            June 12,1898 exact day of our Independence day. From 1898 to 2019 we were free from colonization and celebrating and celebrating our Independence for the 121^st years of pain-free nation. During June 12 people celebrate our Independence towards the Spaniards. No classes and works during this day for every Filipino collaborate to celebrate our Independence day. They do flag raising ceremonies, parades and held a 21 gun salutes in order to celebrate our Independence and be proud of what our ancestors done.

            For many years, we are free. Left the painful past behind us. Thanking our ancestors for their heroics they have done. Be as one, help each other strive to freedom and success. We are Filipinos be proud.
